Why we exist
Many hostels still run on paper registers, WhatsApp groups, and spreadsheets — for attendance, gate passes, fee collection, and emergencies. That works until a missed entry, delayed response, or unclear payment trail creates avoidable risk and extra work.
Smart Hostel Pilot is a single, secure system of record for hostel operations: who is inside, who is on leave, who owes fees, and who needs to be notified when something needs attention. It helps staff respond faster — it does not claim to prevent every emergency.
Every core workflow — signed QR gate passes, merchant UPI fee collection with accountant verification, role-based access, and optional guardian visibility — is designed for how Indian hostels actually operate.
